All Toastmasters should be interested in marketing Toastmasters. Most potential members hear about Toastmasters from a friend, coworker or boss. Word of mouth is the best advertising. Social media has made advertising much easier.
Who, and where should we aim our marketing? World Headquarters has determined the 10 main goals members want to achieve when they join Toastmasters. They have also determined the characteristics of 7 personas who are most likely to join Toastmasters.
In this session we will look at ways clubs can market themselves to potential members and support their members in achieving their goals. We will also consider ways to market your club to specific personas.
The goal of this presentation is for us to learn from each other. Come prepared to talk about what has worked in the past and what has not.
