District 77 was formed July 1, 2003, as a result of the merger of Districts 29 and 48. The unification created a district that included Alabama, Southern Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle. Effective July 1, 2026, District 77 will once again experience the opportunities that realigning presents as we join with Districts 43 and 68 creating a district with more than twice the geographical footprint and a wealth of experience and possibilities.
