2026-2027 Toastmasters Leadership Roles: Get Involved!

The upcoming new District 77 is seeking diligent elected and appointed leaders for the 2026 – 2027 Toastmasters year.

As a District Leader, you experience many opportunities to practice skills that will enhance your ability to work with a diverse group of clubs, officers, and members. District Leadership promises the perfect platform to sharpen your personal brand of influence and develop leadership skills.

Below is a list of the elected and appointed roles for the next term. Please review the District Leader Qualifications and Responsibilities and the District Leader Competencies. 

If you want to have your nomination considered or if you would like to nominate someone else, please complete and submit the District Leader Nominating Form.

All candidates, both elected and appointed, must also complete and submit a Candidate ApplicationOfficer Agreement and Release Form and District Leader Biographical Information.

The four (4) above forms must be submitted to the District Leadership Committee (DLC) Chair Judith A. Kidd, DTM, IPDD at [email protected] no later than January 19, 2026.

Additional nominations of qualified and eligible candidates may also be made from the floor at the Annual Meeting of the District Council with the consent of the person(s) nominated.

  1. To be eligible as a floor candidate, a candidate for District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, or Division Director must have completed the District Leadership Committee’s evaluation process in the same election cycle in which the candidate stands for election at the Annual Meeting of the District Council for that specific role.
    1. All eligible floor candidates must declare their intent to run to the District Director at least seven (7) days prior to the elections.

Note: Candidates who completed the DLC evaluation process must also submit an email to the DLC Chair confirming intent to run from the floor no later than one week from the District Council meeting.

Interviews: Candidates seeking an elected position will be interviewed by the District Leadership Committee (DLC). Interviews will take place in February 2026. The DLC Chair will contact candidates to schedule an interview.

Elections for the 2026-2027 term will be held May 2, 2026, at a combined District Council Meeting. All appointed roles will be determined by the District Director-Elect. The 2026 – 2027 term will begin July 1, 2026, and end June 30, 2027.

Additional opportunities will be available to serve as 2026 – 2027 District committee chairs, project managers, and team members which will be announced after elections.
