Extra VPPR Tips:
- Post regularly to your social media accounts and keep your pages current with meeting times, contact info, etc.
- Utilize various types of content (articles, graphics, member photos, polls) to keep your audience engaged.
- Keep graphics simple and easy to read.
- Reach out to Jessica to get meeting information and events posted to the D77 website and social media outlets.
- Follow up with news stations with a phone call (by 10 a.m.) after you send a press release to make sure they received it and if they are able to cover it. News stations tend to fill in gaps on slow news days with good news stories and events happening around the area.
- Utilize event pages to promote club meetings like news stations, local event organizers, local chambers, etc.
- Canva can be used for simple graphic design and you can sign up for a free account at www.canva.com.
- Update your website weekly to keep it at the top of Google searches when prospective members are looking to visit a club. It can be as simple as updating your next meeting date.
- Reach out to other professional organizations to share information about Toastmasters like young professional groups. They can help share that information with their members.
Definitely reach out to me or Jessica with any questions or if you need help with promoting your club. We are both happy to help in any way we can!
Best,
Eric Franchois
