Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader:

I am an Operational Excellence and Analytics professional in a global manufacturing organization, leading cross-functional improvement efforts and enterprise transformation initiatives. My role requires strategic planning, data-driven execution, and influencing without authority – skills I apply directly in Toastmasters leadership. As an Area Director, I use a structured, continuous improvement approach to support clubs through effective coaching, Distinguished Club Program tracking and strong focus on member experience, enabling sustainable club, Area, and Division success.

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

I have extensive experience in strategic planning through my 15 years of corporate experience, where I lead multi-year initiatives by defining clear objectives, success metrics, governance models, and execution roadmaps across global teams. I regularly translate strategy into actionable plans, monitoring progress through data and KPIs, and adjust course as needed – an approach I also apply in Toastmasters by developing success plans, aligning Area and club goals with District priorities, and ensuring consistent follow-through.

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

I began my career in corporate finance for a global corporation, where I spent five years supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This foundation strengthened my financial discipline, attention to detail, and understanding of fiscal accountability, which I apply in Toastmasters through responsible planning, budget awareness, and sound stewardship of District and club resources.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

As a Six Sigma Black Belt, I develop procedures using Lean and Six methodologies, including DMAIC, root cause analysis, and standard work. In my professional role, I design data-driven, scalable processes that reduce variation and improve quality. I apply the same discipline in Toastmasters by creating clear playbooks, procedures, and workflows that enable leaders to execute effectively and consistently.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

I have learned that sustainable success comes from clarity, consistency, and people development. Clear expectations and simple processes build confidence, while regular communications and follow-through create trust and accountability. Investing in leaders through coaching and support produces stronger teams and lasting results.

Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

I want to serve as a District leader to support and develop leaders, strengthen club quality, and help deliver a consistent, positive member experience across the District. This role allows me to apply my leadership and coaching skills on a larger scale while giving back to an organization that has played a significant role in my personal and professional growth.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

The District mission’s major objectives are to build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence, with a strong focus on member experience and leadership development. I would achieve these objectives by supporting Area and club leaders with clear expectations, practical tools, and consistent coaching; aligning with the Distinguished Club Program and Moments of Truth; and fostering collaboration, accountability and early intervention to ensure sustainable success.
